In this Storybook STEAM series, students will study artist Taylor Barron. Taylor did the wonderful illustrations for the book How Grizzly Found Gratitude written by Dennis Mathew.
 
Students will start with a picture walk, giving them a chance to closely examine some of Taylor's pictures. Then students will get a chance to test out oil pastels, charcoal pencils, acrylic paints and watercolors. Finally, students will create their own masterpiece inspired by Taylor Barron using any of the art mediums they explored.
